Alocasia Cucullata 'Buddha's Hand'

Regal. This is the perfect word to describe this plant. It has beautiful heart-shaped glossy ruffled green foliage with prominent veins on tall green stems. Also known as Buddha's hand, it is believed to bring good fortune and is often kept in Buddhist temples across its native Thailand and Laos. 

Care Tips

Light: Thrives in bright, well-lit conditions. Direct sunlight should be avoided. Alocasia does not benefit from shade and will begin to suffer if the light is too low.

Water: Keep the soil moist 

Temperature: needs to be kept warm. Normal room temperature is ideal: between 18-22°C 

Toxic to pets and humans when ingested.
