Hoya Mauna Loa

The Hoya Mauna Loa is  known for its thick, succulent-like leaves that are typically dark green and glossy. The leaves are often oval-shaped and may have a slightly waxy texture. This cultivar is distinguished by its variegated foliage, which features creamy white or yellow markings along the edges of the leaves.

Growing Conditions: Hoya Mauna Loa thrives in warm, humid environments with bright, indirect light. When grown as a houseplant, it prefers well-draining soil and regular watering, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Providing high humidity levels, either through misting or by placing the plant on a pebble tray filled with water, can also promote healthy growth.

Care: Hoya Mauna Loa is relatively low-maintenance and easy to care for, making it suitable for beginner plant enthusiasts. It benefits from occasional pruning to remove dead or damaged foliage and encourage new growth. Additionally, fertilize the plant sparingly during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
