Alocasia Pink Dragon

Alocasia Baginda Pink Dragon has green leaves with silver-like markings and bright pink stems under.  It is an exceptionally decorative plant! This Alocasia stays compact and is suitable for terrariums.

The plant is approximately 15 cm tall and it comes in a plastic nursery pot size 10cm.

Like other thick-leaved Alocasia, allow to fully dry between watering, use a fast-draining potting mix and provide bright light and good ventilation. Over-watering, wet leaves, and soggy soil makes Alocasia susceptible to a variety of serious fungal infections. Dragon Scale will require less water during the colder season when it’s dormant than in summer during active growth.

Please note: Jewel Alocasia’s (as it’s also called) are far less tolerant of moist soil than the other thinner leaf varieties.

Light: Bright, indirect sunlight

Water: let the plant dry out between waterings

Humidity: above average

Soil: well draining mix

Warning: This plant is extremely pretty. The pink stems look like candy sticks.
