A very hardy plant, This is a very tough plant. The fern’s epiphytic habit and rhizomatous form allow it to succeed in unfavourable environments.
Care Tips
Light: Low to moderate light requirements, ideal for homes and offices.
Water: Keep the soil moist at all times. Water when the surface becomes slightly dry, but don't over-do it, the Blue Star Fern won't thank you if it is left standing in water. Water from the sides rather directly onto the leaves.
Temperature: Normal household temperatures 16-24°C
Humidity: These ferns prefer higher humidity levels where possible. Ideal for kitchens and bathrooms.
Feed: Liquid fertiliser can be applied occasionally during the growing season.
Height and Growth Rate: 25cm, Fast growing.
Origin: Tropical Rainforests of South America.
